Today is Labor Day.

It is not my first away from the union, but the first where I really feel the weight of its absence. In honor of the amazing working people I met in all the years of my travels, here’s a little gallery of a few I had the honor of photographing.

If you have a union at your workplace, join it. If you don’t, consider starting one.
The workplace protections and solidarity you’ll experience are worth the fight.
